tried this it didn't change anything.

this is evidently a software fauly because auto studio 13 records ok. the difference is Samplitude was a download, Studio 13 was installed from DVD.

@Sweeney-Robert Try resetting the program settings in the Help menu. Did you install Windows 11 from scratch or did you upgrade from Windows 10? Or did you make a fresh installation of Samplitude on Windows 11? Which version of Samplitude are you using. I believe only the newest version is officially compatible with Windows 11.
