Hi,

I am not sure what you mean by "I am not seeing a lot of support for this program".  I assume that you mean that the error that you get is a "Microsoft Visual C++" Runtime Error.  If this is not the case please add more detail.  Microsoft C++ is a Microsoft product, and if you are getting the Runtime error, that is a problem that you need to deal with with Microsoft.  They will tell you that it is a application provider error, that that is a bunch of BS.  Unless you have not updated your operating system, and the application worked before, this is a MS C++ problem, not an application problem.  Make sure you have the latest OS updates as well as C++ and if that does not solve your problem, go after Microsoft.

Hi

 . . . . I am not seeing a lot of support for this program (Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus) . . . .

This version is 2 versions out of date and is no longer current or supported - MEP is now up to MEP 2013 - in the old numbering sequence version 19.

Have you installed other software after MEP 17 that is also written in C++ and has its own C++ library?

Was MEP 17 working and has now stopped because of this error?

What version of Windows are you using and is it 32 or 64 bit?

Help us help you by providing the information as requested.

John
