repeated unwanted sections

Magix De Luxe Plus

I'm in the process of creating a movie that consists of multiple sections recorded on camera. One (but only one) section is behaving strangely.
From this section I would like to use two parts of recordings. When I cut this section and put part of record to my project, the film it does not contain the expected part of film, but repeated many times the same topic. This is the part of beginning of this section.

In other words, result is that I have some repeats of the initial part of section but I don't have section that I chose from the movie.

I can not manage with it. I opened a new project and worked only with this section - the result was the same :-(

What's more visible on the timeline is just the first shot - the same image many times repeated. I was wondering if it is related of the settings?

I'll be very grateful for help in solving this problem.

Very strange! I really don't know why you should be seeing this problem but, in order to attempt to help you it would be very useful if you were to give us a step by step detail of exactly what you are doing, starting even from the point "Place the video on the timeline".

Ultimately it may be necessary to ask you to post some part of this clip somewhere for one of us to download and have a look at.
