HI All

I am trying to remove the reverb from a project before i start recording as the sound i get when trying to record from LP is terrible with a horrible reverb effect

There seems no way to stop this as all I want to start the project is the sound from an LP

Any help would be very welcome

Hi terry,

just wondering if this might be what you need. Open the program, and press the letter R. The Recording Window will open. Then click on  Level Control and make sure that all options except stereo mix are muted, as this might be causing what you are calling reverb.

Then choose Soundcard settings, and choose WDM. Hope it works for you.

HI

Many thanks for that but I have found by clicking off the sound monitor on the sound card settings it clearsthe problem only thing is I cannot hear what is being recorded.

I could not click on the level control as i dont seem to have one in th erecord mode. There is an audio input only and this gives the mode of input CD - Line in Etc

I guess i have a problem with my sound card drivers. It is an inbuilt sound card.

Will let you know what happens.

Have a good xmas
