"Remote Record" gone forever?

I have yet to upgrade to Sound Forge 12, since I was so disappointed 11 dropped the "Remote Record" feature. I did mention that in feedback at the time. Looking though 12's feature set, it appears that pop-up window is still gone. Do we have any idea what the status might be on bringing it back? My version 10 is still my workhorse version of Sound Forge because it contains the feature.

Don't know if we will see the Remote Record again. You're not alone, lots of folks complained about losing that. SCS removed the 'Remote Record' feature in SF Pro 11. In fact, they changed the record UI all together... made it a lot less intuitive. Whilst beta testing Pro 11, I questioned this AND the change to the plug-in chainer, which too is less intuitive now.. It fell on SCS deaf ears though. SF Pro 12 has other merits though, including the iZotope Elements plugs (RX & Ozone). And the x64 Pro 12 sure is snappy fast ..
