Regristration not linknig correctly and lack of content missing. Music Maker 2016 Premium. Any idea's?

Firstly I have run this at work PC, I have run at it home and both showed a healthy amount of content from the instrustments but soon as I use my home PC...I noticed a lot of content seems missing. I've tried looking into solutions like registering via the 'help' to see if upgrading my software would work but it did nothing. I only seem to have linked my account now but literally nothing has changed on the software side.

So the problem: Missing content like instruments, maybe more and seems to be not linking correctly to the software since I've seen questions answered here recently, it made me realise it didn't seem to link the registor correctly.
When and how: Only on my home PC, not my work PC or Windows tablet. All devices run the latest version of WIndows 10, are all fully up to date.

Software I'm using for home: I7 3.6ghz, 16 RAM, Nvidia GeForce 770.
Software using: Music Maker 2016 Premium (Steam version)

Not sure what else to say hope someone helps me figure it out since like the software so far.

Hi,

Normally when you purchase from Magix on line, there is more to download and install under Help, Update program/Upgrade functions, Download free synthesizer and sound packages.

Since you purchased through Steam, you should direct your question to them to get the rest of the program.

Why do people insist on getting Magix programs through Steam, when it is much easier to buy directly from Magix, register with them, and have everything available in your online account?

Because the software said go the main website...then I got questions saying I should go hear...It's funny you said Steam, already posted there with no reply's. As this is a Magix software related issue...thought made sense to ask here.

Edit: Due to the lack of support, I'm looking into a refund, already requesting it on Steam.

Hi,

I took a quick look for Steam under search and the results are basically the same. Steam has its own way of distributing the software including the additional content and updates that are different from Magix.

It seems that only Steam users know how to do this and their only contribution to this forum is to ask questions. I didn't see any in which a Steam user answered the question as to how to get the additional content, etc. If you manage to find out how to get the extra content through Steam, please come back and tell us so that other Steam users can profit from the answer.

Otherwise, your best bet is to buy directly from Magix. Any questions can be raised here and any unsolvable problems can be raised directly with Magix, who usually does a good job in replying within a day during the week.

Good luck!
