reduce size of bar for a loop to 4 bars.

I cant change the bars in a loop (not in main music platform).  the bars is decided by the yellow line above your notes (i.e keyboard is to your far left).  Its driving me nuts.  Want 4 bars.  got 8 sometimes or 16 or 24 or 92.  I never get to decide.  i cant drag the bar arrow to the left to reduce size to 4.  can only drag to the right the right handside arrow.  THere are no auto edit for numebr of bars when developing a loop.  means i have  huge silence gap after my loop finishes at 4 bars.  i cant drag the far right yellow arrow at end of the yellow bar to the left at all.  so hoping someone has different advice from that.  cheers.  cant buy this software if I cant get a solution.  cheers.

Hi

. . . . i cant drag the bar arrow to the left to reduce size to 4. . . . .

You do not tell where in the program you are seeing this.

So taking a guess- the only clue being . . . . keyboard is to your far leftt . . . . - you referring to the Midi Editor.

In which case right click the yellow bar where you want it to end - ou can then drag it as you please.

Hi johnbaker.

I took a printscreen but couldnt load image as a png on this forum. I am unable to drag the right side of the yellow bar to the left i the midi editor.  Even right clicking the yellowbar had no affect on dragging the end of the yello bar to the left.  I tried again after your reponse just to make sure for a 100th time.  I can easily drag the lefthand side tab of the yellow bar to the left or right (ie the starting point of the loop) but not the right hand tab of the yellow bar (i.e end point of the loop).  Meaning - loops are waay longer than they need to be.  Is there any other options.  Can you do what I tried to explain above (move the end part of the yellow bar to the left towards the start of the loop)?  cheers for desiphering my question.

You need to save the image as a jpg to upload to the forum - this is stated in the upload dialog..

Which version of Music Maker are you using?

Are you referring to the Midi Editor window?
