Try resetting by pressing on F9.

Hi, just tried pressing F9, it just pulls up the keyboard feature. Have also tried random other keys but nothing has worked as of yet!

I guess that F9 doesn't work in all Magix programs. So try resetting through the menu.

Go to File, Settings, Reset program settings to default.

Firstly thanks again for the suggestion :-) Had already tried File, settings, Reset programs settings to default. Just tried again but hasn't brought back the scrolling red line. Am tempted to reload the program from scratch. everything else seems to be working though and it seems like a random thing to go missing when evrything else works fine!

Well it's working now, set computer to install any outstanding windows updates, of which there were 8, and the red line is back. Wouldn't of thought in a million years it was that but there you have it! Had resorted to mashing keys and letting the cat wander up and down the keyboard! Thanks again for your help ;-)
