Recording vinyl

Hi

I am recording vinyl from a record player to a laptop and I am 'marking' the individual tracks using the marker on the Lab 10 record form but I want to export and name each track individually but can't work out how to do that. I've found a way of naming each track by chaning the name of the marker but just need to be able to export each 'marker' so that each track is seperated on my hard drive - any ideas grealy appriciated!!

Cheers

Mark

It might be with that version (ACL 10) you will have to name the tracks after the export (each track marker as an individual file). I think that is how I remember it, I unfortunately do not have that version any longer and I am not sure if the new version has changed that process.

HI John, the problem is that I've recoded one side of an album and have marked the tracks but if I export it there is only one file for the whole side exported. What I need to do is 'tell' it to export each marker (track) separately so I can name them and import into WMP. There must be away of doing this - I can't beleive that you'd have to record each track seperately!! Cheers Mark

In the export dialog that opens before the program puts the computer through the export process there is a "tick" box that you can check off that states something to the effect... All tracks as an individual file.

With that selected, each track marker will represent the start and stop for the export function.
