Hi John - thanks for the brill advice regarding the inputs for recording on the MMM and computer.
Got another poser for you though. Is it possible to use the 199 pre-set instruments from my Casio WK-1300 keyboard and directly record them onto the MMM Premium Arranger - either in midi or audio.
If this were possible - it would save me a lot of time abd expense in gathering different VSTI Instruments to use
on the MMM Premium program!

Darren - Yes, it is possible to record any of the 199 "instruments" (voices) from your Casio WK-1300. While technically they are MIDI instruments within the keyboard itself, you would be recording the AUDIO output of those instruments.
To record the AUDIO of the keyboard's instruments, you will need to connect a cable from the Casio's combination stereo Line-OUT/Headphone jack and connect it to the blue stereo Line-IN jack on your computer (assuming you have one). Make sure the appropriate recording input is chosen in the Windows/sound card settings.
In MMM, you would then create an AUDIO recording (not MIDI) in an open track.

You can do the same with ANY keyboard, synth, or synth module that has audio output jacks (they all do). With some patience, it is possible to pick up any number of vintage synths/modules for a reasonable price. Most would sound better than a software simulation as well. This would expand your sound palette substantially beyond the standard General MIDI fare. For modules, you can use the Casio as a MIDI controller.
