Recording a mono microphone on Music Maker

Hello friends,

I am using a Magix Music Maker MX and a Lexicon Alpha external sound card. I've attached a microphone to the sound card and would like to record my voice onto the Music Maker. The sound is obviously Mono, but I can't get it to playback on both speakers. I've tried the Mono option on the Audio Recording window > quality, but it just records really badly. What do I do??

Many thanks!

Ethan

Yes I know this, me too got  Phantom power mono mic with audio interface.

What I do to make mono to stereo? First record Mono then on Music Maker copy the recorded track and put that on 2nd track save the project and export, When we will export both track it will become stereo. Or in the Music Maker there is feature if we right click on the mono track we can convert it in to stereo. Right now I am not home therefore could not use my Music Maker otherwise I would have given you proper direction. In the mean time please try.

Hi

To add to  nihon94's comment using the stereo processor -

Right click the recorded audio object and select Audio Effects, Stereo processor.

From the drop down in the centre of the SP panel select either Both channels = left or Both channels = right depending on which channel the audio is in.

You can then position the recorded sound on the audio stage using the Pan - direction control.
