Recorded track not playing all of a sudden?

I recorded a track with my midi input, it was working just fine, deleted it to make a new one, and this new track will not play.

Mute is off, i tried putting it on solo and not on solo. It definitely has the input on the midi editor the notes are there... but no sound. Metronome sound is on, but that's it. Those notes I recorded aren't playing.

Restarted program a couple times. Now actually anything I record on midi is not working having the same issue. It's playing the notes through my speakers as I play them, and registering as notes on the recorded track as you can see, but when I go to play it back those notes are all muted. Also if I put in any pre made loops they aren't playing either.

Any help?

Okay so if I go into midi note editor and delete a note, any note, it starts to play them again? idk what is going on

Hi Jeremy,

which Music Maker version do you use? Which MIDI device (or synth like VITA etc.) do you use for playback?

The behavior you describe is strange, so maybe more information can help.

It is possible that your MIDI input device sends on MIDI channel 2, for example, and some soft synths only playback on channel 1. On the other hand, pre-made MIDI loops should work then, since they are MIDI channel 1... (The MIDI channel is a property of each MIDI event and can be looked up in the MIDI Editor...).

If you are on Windows 10, try an explicit "Restart" of the computer, not only shutdown... other users reported problems with the playback which could be solved by resetting the system timer, which is only reset on an explicit "Restart" of Windows 10 (not only "shutdown" which is not enough).

strange... im on windows 10 got the plus version using an axiom 25 keyboard.

tried all of that, I think it was just weird placement of the notes? im having tons of bugs with this software it seems...
