Record button is greyed out!??

Just installed ACL2004 on my windows Vista machine...the record button is greyed out...cannot record at all...input is active and the level is good. What am I missing?

Hi,

Keep in mind that ACL 2004 is years away from Windows Vista compatibility. That's probably the main problem here, since the whole Windows audio driver interface and mixer control is very different between Win 2000/XP and Vista. If you do have sound hardware that support recording, a more recent version of Audio Cleaning Lab should take care of the problem. There are trial versions on the Magix website.
