QWERTY Piano live sound missing, Music Maker EDM 2020

I have my soundcard settings set to direct and it will playback all sound blocks that are put into the workspace. Additionally, if I were to take a block for a pre-programmed instrument such as the piano or Revolta 2 instrument, I can manually drag and write the music and then playback from the block just fine.
However, what I cannot seem to get to work is to listen to the virtual keyboard using the QWERTY while I am recording inputs from it. It will record the inputs into a sound block which I can listen to once I playback the session, but I can't hear live notes when I strike the keys. Is there a way to use the virtual piano with the QWERTY keyboard and hear the sound WHILE I am playing it? To reiterate, I am not using any external device, just the computer itself and the virtual keyboard built into the software.

My specs:
Intel Core i7-9750H (2.6 GHz) (9th gen)
16GB DDR4 2666MHz
Realtek chipset I believe (driver 6.0.8710.1), system will process 48GHz 24bit just fine.
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1660 Ti 6GB (not sure this is relevant)
