Question on exporting to Audio CDs in ACL MX.

mitcon wrote on 9/22/2012, 6:53 PM

I am using the latest version of Audio Cleaning Lab MX (Windows Vista) to transfer all of my vinyl LPs to CD. When I export my project to Audio CD and then play it in Microsoft's Media Player I get no Album, Artist or Track List wit titles. Everything appears as "Unknown Artist", "Unknown Album" and the track list appears as "Track 1" ... "Track nn".

If I export to MP3s all files are named according to the titles in the tracklist (ACL's tracklist) and an accurate M3U file is built.

Is there a way to get this information burned on my CDs so it appears when played?

Thanks,

Mitch

Hi

I do not have ACL - however if the software has the ability to edit the ID3 tags this is where you should be putting the information.

If this cannot be done in ACL there is a workaround which is a little awkward -

1.  Export the tracks to mp3

2.  Using Windows Explorer right click each mp3 and select Properties, Details tab

3.  Enter the information you need and apply

Repeat for all the mp3's and burn an audio CD with your favourite burning program eg Roxio, Nero etc
