First, can you tell us rather more about whythe 2021 premium will not work on your computer? What happens when you try to install it? Is the installation successful? If so, what happens when you try to run the program? If you receive any error message at any time, please give us the full wording of the message.
Then please tell us rather more about your computer; this post will give you details of what we really need to know if we are to have any chance of helping you.
As regards the back-up disc not being received yet, depending where you are in the world it may simply be delayed in the Christmas post.
Ultimately, you do have 30 days from the date of initial purchase to ask for a full refund.
My issue is that I installed it .and it downloaded fine went through the whole installation process no issues .In regards to my computer it was purchased in 2019 It use Windows Pro 10 64 bit. it is an HP ProBook 450 G6 Notebook PC Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8565U CPU @ 1.80GHz,8538 KBC Version 51.2D.00 Audio driver:IntcDAud.sys10.27.0.9 version so it populates graph come up downloaded sound pools and other freebies. I also have Music Maker 2013 that I purchased while I was in Germany so I have other sound loops as well )I drag and drop a loop onto the grid the and press play the the red marker only go 1/4 of the way on the loop and then the play button on the controls turns into a pause button and its done can not load our get the loops loaded and it gives me no sound .the difference is that I still have no issues with my 2013 version of the program. I upgraded because it.is time and have wanting to do so for awhile . Is there something that I am not doing correctly or did I get a bad download or what? I never had this kind of issue with the older version.it is on the same computer and works fine.I really enjoy your products but I have been trying to figure this out and you are the first person that I have been able to get ahold of so any thing we can do to alleviate this issue would be great ,Thank you.

The details you've given suggest that the problem may be with the audio driver you are using, I think. Can you go to File>Settings>Program (shortcut P) and post a screenshot of the Audio/MIDI tab?
Assuming you are using the internal sound chipset of the HP check that you have the original HP audio drivers installed.
In the Audio Midi tab checked the Advanced settings (arrowed blue below) are similar to the ones shown below in the Advanced settings dialog that opens - my audio chipset is a Realtek, the HP appears to use an Intel audio chipset however the options should be similar
You may also find you need to change the buffer settings as shown above.
