Probably not. "R" and "M" shortcuts don't even work in 2022.

Hi,

Music Maker has never had punch in recording, unfortunately. For that, you would need at least Samplitude Music Studio.

As I mentioned in the other thread, R for Rec has disappeared 😠, but M for Mixer still works unless you last clicked in the on-screen keyboard, in which case, it plays a note. The Mixer now shows up docked, the first time, in the bottom window. You can leave it there and just click on the tab when needed, or undock it and move it where you want. Note that pressing M a second time closes the Mixer.
