Program does not close on exit

Having saved a project and finished a session with MMM Premium 2022

I hit File / Exit - nothing happens - so I now usually hit the x - top right on the very top MMM bar - which then seems to close ok

So what's up with the File / exit option?

@Rigby-Allen It is a bug. Maybe the next patch will help with this problem.

Yes, it is very annoying!

Sometimes the app will "close" properly (using the red "X") and sometimes it persists in running and even Task Manager>End Task, fails to close it! It seems that, in those circumstances, the app is doing some "housekeeping" and will not allow itself to be immediately closed but will, eventually, do so.
