I have literally just purchased the photostory delux (2022) edition from this site and received my email with order number details, download link and the serial number. I have logged in to my account and under "My products" it shows the same information with 2 activation slots saying "not in use".
I previously registered a trial copy that I deleted.
Then I think the only suggestion any fellow-user can make is to email infoservice@magix.net, giving full details of the problem, and ask for their help.

From the vendors viewpoint, it is the email address supplied by PayPal that is used to avoid potential fraud if the product was purchased under one email address and paid for through PayPal using a different email address.
