Producerplanet is a website by MAGIX an and is completly connected to the normal MAGIX account. You can purchase soundpools, plugins, and instruments there.
And now comes the best thing. It is fully connected to the MAGIX Music Maker in-app-store what means that every soundpool and instrument purchase (except the ACID only things) are then available in the music maker in-app-store. It also works the other way around. So every soundpool and instrument purchased in the in-app-store is available to download on producerplanet.com Since the instruments are available as .exe files and the soundpools as .ogg you can use them in all other compatible programms and not just newest music maker.
Coupon codes for producerplanet.com than also be used in the in-app-store and coupons for the in-app-store on producerplanet.com. (Coupon codes which you got and not the included free soundpool and instrument codes.)
The Video plugins purchased on producerplanet.com should be than available in the video deluxe / movie edit pro in-app-store (since both have the same in the store):
The sharing is one way. What you had or have in Samplitude Music Studio can be activated in MusicMaker. Did you try activating Samplitude Music Studio in MusicMaker?
Hopefully, Magix will update all of the other products so that they work with instruments and Soundpools purchased in MM. Right now, even music and sounds in mxcogg format purchased in Movie Edit Pro do not work with MusicMaker.
I suggest that you raise this with Magix. I have already done so.
"activating Samplitude Music Studio in Music Maker" wow , you really got me stumped .
i found out about Music Maker's In-App Store from this forum . that was a surprise . The surprises just keep coming
can you drop a hint as where\what to do in Music Maker to associate\activate Samplitude to it . i have no clue what to do . I will give it a look .
on Music Makers Registration page , it shows Samplitudes serial number . that's the most I know about it .
I bought Grand Piano , from Music Maker's In-App Store .Samplitude sees Grand Piano in it's VST list of instruments .however , Grand Piano is NOT activated for Samplitude . if i want Samplitude to use Grand Piano , i will need to purchase Grand Piano again .
I put the SN Serial Number .of Samplitude into MM , on that Activation screen . MM says that program ( Samplitude ) is fully active\functional .
I also tried to make an "Activation Code" for Samplitude Music Studio with one of the features of the Magix web site , but the ComputerID isn't accepted . I was using the Computer Name , cause that is all I can find for what the ComputerID should be . if the ComuterID requested by Magix is something else , then please let me know . Magix has a button to "Make Activation Code" , for one of your products . Need to enter the SN and ComputerID ,...click the button and it fails , with bad ComputerID .
. . . . if the ComuterID requested by Magix is something else , then please let me know . . . .
A computer ID is a unique identifier for your PC created by the software - using various parameters from your PC.
If you already have Samplitude Music Studio installed and activated you only need the serial number of for Music Maker.
If Samplitude Music Studio has not been activated the computer ID is only made visible using the Offline activation method, with online activation you do not see this occurring .
MM has the SN of Samplitude , on MM's Activation screen .. MM and Samplitude both have Green Check mark next to their serial numbers . still no sharing of music synthesizers . guess sharing isn't gonna work for me .
Samplitude MS will not be able to share the Instruments purchased using MM. Only instruments that came with Samplitude MS will be activated in MM. Check which instruments came with your version of SMS.
still Zonks here . SMS comes with DN e1 , and MM does NOT have it ! DN e1 is in the MM Store for purchase . MM MOT able to use SMS's DN e1 ,...No sharing either way . that's how it is here .
the In-App Stores of the 3 main music\audio programs are all different . the 3 stores are NOT associated , thus , with a Music Maker purchase add on , ( Samplitude and ACID Pro 8 ) will NOT recognize it , as the "Stores" are ALL unique to their respective program . That's the word , from Magix .
if you have Music Maker , and you want to move to Samplitude , or to ACID Pro 8 , you will need to buy the add-ons again .
if you have Samplitude , and you want to move to Music Maker , you will need to re-buy the add-ons , again .
