In S Forge 10 I can drag a music file and drop it just over the fade out of first track (mixing), but with S Forge 12 when I do the dropping it will cut the first track with cut piece at end of track....if I mix I don't get the complete track .
can someone advise me what I have to do?

thank you for your feedback. I will have a look into it. I hope we can change this with the next update.
In the moment as a small workaround you can drag and drop files from explorer and it will open the file, then you can press Ctrl+A and Ctrl+C to copy it. Then you switch to the destination file and position the cursor to the place where you want to mix. With Ctrl+M you can mix what you have inside the clipboard.
