I  have  a  video  I  created  using  Movie Edit MX,  it  will  not  up  load to  the   website.  I  saved it as  an MP4,  i had  no  problems noted  with  the upload, but  when  it   plays all  I  see  is  a  green  screen.  I have   verifed that  I am  uploading  the  right  video. I  have  replayed  the  video  on  my  pc  and  it works  fine. Any ideas on  what I am  doing   wrong?  I  am new to  this,  so  please  be  patient.

Hi.

Unfortunately, there could be  a whole series of reasons why your video is not playing properly on the web site.  It seems clear from what you say that the original video file is fine.

When you say "it will not upload", to where are you trying to upload it?  When you say "when it plays all I see is a green screen", that seems to imply that it has uploaded but simply will not play.

I think we need rather a lot more detail, please, including the web site you are trying to upload to (your own or a video-sharing site like YouTube.)

Hi

If you are uploading to Vimeo, Youtube or any of the other file sharing sites then look at the relevant sites requirements for video format, codecs and resolution.  Both Vimeo and Youtube have excellent guides and specify the requirements for a successful upload.

John
