Hi

If the videos are for public viewing can you post a link to them, or PM me a link, if private.

What format did you upload them as and what was the original source and format of the video.

John

Hello John,

The Videos from Hawaii Vacation I'm having problem with. I took these picture (jpg.) and videos (mov.) with my relatively new camera Nikon COOLPIX P510, then created video files using Roxio VideoWave program, rendered with DivX HD1080@30fps settings, AVI output, size 353 MB (Maui island). I also tried different rendering settings: Window Media Video 9, 1920x1080 VBR, WMV format, size 904 MB (Oahu Island). I have no problems opening and playing these video files on my hard drive. When I upload them to MAGIX Album Online these videos develop SEVERE HICCUP.

Thank you,

Tanya

Hi Tanya

Great video and location !

I have a high speed 40Mb/s broadband connection and I get jerky playback at full resolution, on lower speed Internet connections the playback is going to get very jerky.

This is caused by the video being at full HD resolution with very little compression.

What did you edit the video with?

I would suggest you export the video at 1220 * 720 resolution (720p) and upload this.

HTH

John

Yes, John, it was a great vacation, thank you.

I exported the videos at 720p in different formats: wmv, avi, mpg, mp4. I'm still having the same hiccup problem when I upload files to the Online Album.

I used the  Roxio VideoWave program for creating the Hawaii slideshows (videos). I understand that part of the problem is that these are large HD files and I am not excited about losing high resolution in order to make it work. I wonder if I sign up for the MAGIX PhotoStory on DVD 2013 Deluxe program, would I be able to create HD slideshows (video files) and upload to the Online Album at full HD resolution without the hiccup problems?
