I just installed update 23.0.1.191 (UDP3) and it fixed a bunch of problems I was having. But I just noticed that it messed up tow of the Title Templates - Captions Basic I had used in my latest feature. Check this out:
I think the update has been withdrawn! (I realise that is no consolation or help to you, sorry)
I've just opened my installation of MS 2024, checked "Update online" and see "No Updates available". I'm still on version 23.0.1.180.
If I'm correct and the update is no longer downloadable hopefully either Magix will very quickly offer a revised patch or, as happened following the release of, I think, VPX14, when it had so many problems that Magix had to offer a route to return to VPX13, something similar will happen here.
The issue you are having is due to track 3 being muted - unmute the track, if there are other objects which you do want muted on that track move them down to higher track number and mute it.
No patches here today for MMS2024 and VPX15. I didn't open either program yesterday. Too busy getting a car in Vasco da Gama to go smoothly from Calgary to Nelson, only to realize this morning that I took a wrong turn.
My MS2024 updated this morning at 7:00 GMT and all appears (on the surface) to be well - used it for 4 hours editing a VHS capture.
One thing I have noticed today is that "saturation" when altered in the colo(u)r effects cannot be unchecked in the keyframe window once applied. I don't know if this was the case before the patch.

I was so excited by the return of the Mute button that I forgot to turn it off 😬. Thanks for the tip.
. . . . One thing I have noticed today is that "saturation" when altered in the colo(u)r effects cannot be unchecked in the keyframe window once applied. . . .
You need to have at least one keyframe applied before the effect can be turned off in the keyframe pane for MMS 2024. Double clicking the circle on the slider to reset, does not turn the effect off either.
MMS 2023 is the same with no keyframes applied, however double clicking the circle on the slider to reset, does turn the effect off completely.
MEP 2016 the effect can be turned off in the keyframe pane without any keyframes.
I think a small bug has crept in, will file a Support request.

Change the colour in Color Correction & it adds it as 2 layers, only one of these seems to do anything when turned off & Color Temperature can't be turned off either
Some of the Templates with an added background don't load correctly, as you say 'I don't know if this was the case before the patch.'
Your second image reminds of a misalignment problem that happens with some imports from Boris Particle Illusion videos that I tried to export with a transparency layer. Only yours is much worse.
I have tried a similar effect in MEP 2022 and got the same result.
However, I don't ever remember it being this bad or effecting preset titles before.
Could it be caused by GPU driver or Windows updates?
Ray.

@CubeAce I use the Studio driver, the last one was 546.01, I rolled back to 537.58 because Mocha Pro was only opening as a Background process, rolling back fixed that, There's a new driver 546.33 that I'm going to try when I can bothered to install & then go through checks to see if it's ok.
A user on the French side managed to get the list of fixes/changes in yesterday's aborted patch.
It looks like a bandage patch up of a bunch of self-inflicted wounds without first cleaning the infection, leading to a radical intervention. Sloppy is the most polite word to describe this.
Magix needs to issue a patch undoing the damage to those who installed the yesterday's patch - before going on Christmas vacation.
To which version, I have just had a second patch update a short while ago to .192 with these fixes:
- Crashfix for empty arrangement when clicking in preview monitor
- Crashfix when using video material with timecode information
- Markers are positioned correctly in the storyboard for longer projects
- Markers are positioned correctly in the storyboard when using transitions
- Markers are positioned correctly after switching the view between scene overview - storyboard - arrangement
- Correct width of effect pages after loading the page for the first time
- Photo Wizard retains set effects
- Objects trimmed in the preview monitor can be dragged into the arrangement via DnD
- No drag & drop into the preview monitor possible
- Portrait photos from special camera manufacturers are imported correctly rotated
- Prevention of export aborts with corrupt audio files
- Color automatically sets temperature and saturation
- AMD - export as HEVC or burning process, hardware acceleration is deactivated
Customization:
- Correct symbol of the mute button added to the track header
- Adjustments for preview images of various content
- Added menu button for advanced title editing
- Movie template wizard: Text not readable
- Chroma Key dialog does not display all elements correctly
Added:
Some of the captions are, to use Als term, 'borked', IIRC some captions were misaligned after the Anchor point, and combining of Rotation with Size & Position was introduced.
I now see both patches, .192 for MMS and .205 for VPX. The question is, should I update now or leave them as they were before yesterday, as I didn't update yesterday?
I don't recall ever seeing M in the header of VPX. I looked back at the tutorial on Everything Audio done in 2021 and there was no M, just the speaker icon. This is because VPX separate switches for video/image and audio, so I believe that the speaker is appropriate for the audio. MMS only has the mute switch that turns both video/image and audio off and on.
Any noticeable deleterious effects of yesterday's patch before I update?
. . . . MMS only has the mute switch that turns both video/image and audio off and on. . . . .
Only if video and audio are on a single track, put them on seperate tracks and each track Mute button only affects the appropriate part video or audio.
VPX has both the 'Eye' and 'Speaker' mute buttons for each track, I thought I had seen the Mute fix in the notes for .204, cannot check as i did not keep the notes.
Have checked the update notes for patches .192 and .205 and neither mention the Mute button fix now.
