When choosing from the soundpool, I receive an error message: directsound error, directsound create failed.

any ideas why is this happening.

Notes:

1- the software was working well before with no issues.

2 operating system is Windows7, 64bits

3 I have music maker 2015 premium version 21.0.0.27
