Problem with recording from DV camera to Computer.

I cant seem to connect to my video camera. I have connected and recorded video footage onto my computer before with windows movie maker, so i cant see what the problem could be?? Any help would be much appreciated!

What sort of camera? Did you use USB before? I think there is no other way than using Firewire (IEEE1394) for transferring to MEP from a DV-camera.
