Every time I open a new window to do Voiceover on Sony SoundForge 16, I now get a crash recovery window that pops up. It either says recover or cancel. How do I make this go away? Can someone walk me thru the steps?
Hi @mary-o, go to your 'record and temp files' folder. I think the default is C:\Users\--your username--\AppData\Loca\MAGIX\SOUND FORGE\.... (the AppData folder is a system files folder and is normally hidden so you likely need to un-hide it). You can also find the folder's exact location in the Sound Forge "Options> Preferences> General" menu . Move, remove or delete the <.tmp> files.
If removing the temps files does not help, 'Reset and clear cache' in the Sound Forge 'File' menu.. btw, this will reset most of your custom Sound Forge settings to the factory defaults.
