Hi

I hit the same problem yesterday with a video I am just finishing.

I cured it by doing a reset on MEP 2013 - there are two ways you can do this - note both will lose any custom settings you have made :-

1.   Select File, Setting Reset program settings to default

If this fails

2.   With  MEP closed  - use Windows Explorer to search for the file videodeluxe.ini  you will need to search hidden folders as well.

The search will find several versions of the file - there will be one which is bigger than the rest probably it will be 10 - 25kb or more in size - delete this one.

Restarting  MEP will recreate this file.

What causes this is difficult to say however mine started playing back incorrectly after I hit a key which appears not to have any shortcut assigned to it

Hi

The 11.6 kb videodeluxe.ini is the file to delete.

Check that the Spacebar stops at current position is checked Program settings, Playback tab
