Hello. I just received Magix Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus HD. I had 16 but ranted to upgrade and Ive heard 17 is really good. Ive been having problems. I called to get my mpeg2 code and it imports my mxf files flawlessly which is great. The video plays smooth in the playback window until I starting to use any type of color correction or contrast or anything really. The video then jerks and skips and stalls non stop. Hardware acceleration is on and Ive adjusted Alot of things to no avail. Am I missing something? I have a HP Pavilion with 8 gigs of ram, a 750 gig hard drive and a seperate interanl 1.5 Cavier Black hard drive that I save my projects and video on so my c drive stays clean. And an AMD quadcore processor. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you. I am thinking about purchasing pro x, but not if I am going to run into these issues..

Hi

Are the mxf files HD video?

We need a little more information on your computer:-

Which version of Windows are you using and is it 32 or 64 bit?

Where do the filepaths in the programs settings point to - ie do any of the paths (except the bottom 2) point to the C drive?  See this image for my settings.

John
