Please assist . Install not completing

I tried the trial version of Music maker Premium installed on Windows 10 and decided to make the purchase by downloading. After I purchased and downloaded i notice that the interface did not look the same as in the tutorials and was missing some information. Also, when you click on the help and about MAGIX Music Maker Premium, it shows that I am still using a trial version. It tells me that I have 24 days remaining. I do not have any soundpools although I have installed them and reinstalled them 3 times now. (each of them) except for one. Which gives me an error that says "The installation package could not be opened.Cause: Error applying transforms. Then it gives a file path that does not actually exist on this machine and I am unsure what to do at this point. But it's pretty dissappointing to have made as many attempts to get this software to work so many times over the last two days.

Hi

. . . . After I purchased and downloaded i notice that the interface did not look the same as in the tutorials . . . .

Which tutorials ie those on this forum, the Magix website, Youtube or where?

There are several versions of Music Maker Premium - did you purchase the same version as the trial you tested?

I would advise you to re-install the program again following this procedure.

Note: if you are using McAfee or Norton antivirus it may be interfering with the installation.

The tutorials I looked at are the ones that the software directs you to on the Magix website. I will double check again. I did my downloads from the Magix website. I do have McAfee! I am going to disable it and attempt the reinstall once again. I will follow up and post my results. Thank you!

Thank you so much! This worked!

I followed the instructions in the pdf. Ran the system scan and everything came up normal.I deleted the associated folders, turned off McAfee during the installation and now everything works as advertised. Thanks again for taking the time to respond to my request for help.
