First save your video as a project. Then go to File > Export movie and select f.i. Windows Media or MP4. In a new window select the Resolution and other inputs, depending on the source files.

Just to add a bit to asoeli's answer... The 'project' you save is a Movie Edit Pro only file which has all the information about what clips, images etc you have used and what editing you have done including special effects and titles etc. If you ever want to make some changes (like a Hollywood blockbuster re-release :-) you can continue from where you left off. Perhaps more importantly, if you want to make a version in some other format -- 4XHD! or just for a mobile phone -- it is better to do a fresh export from your project than resampling your media player file.

Hi

And to add to both Aseoli's and Carl's answers - if you have not read the installed PDF manual - availeble under Help - then please do so - there is a lot of information there to help you.

I am looking for an option to do the same thing, unfortunately what you are suggesting is not an option in MEP 2015.  The only option there is is to burn a CD or DVD or save the video as a MEP MVP file, which nothing else can open!

Hi

@ hegbus

. . . . unfortunately what you are suggesting is not an option in MEP 2015. . . . .

I think you are looking in the wrong place - you should be looking under File > Export movie as shown in the image below.

Note: the option Export video as Quicktime movie requires Quicktime to be installed on your computer.
