The red marker and the bar counter all of a sudden stopped working when i loaded up program. I have tried to do many things and nothing worked. I have had the same program for over a year and never had this issue. Nothing i have changed. Same windows same program.

I now have the same problem with MMM 2016 Live - was working fine now the timeline cursor does not move, the bar counter does not change and the audio level meters are not working either in the main window or the mixer.
Resetting the program and views does not work.
Which version of Music Maker are you using - please give the full name and version?
Which version of Windows are you using - if 10 was this an update from 7 or 8?

Issue solved for me - in my case it looks like the graphics card drivers (Intel) were 'broken' by a Windows 10 update a couple of days ago.
Downloading and installing the latest version from Intel corrected the problem.
If you are using the Intel graphics search for the correct driver here - enter the graphics chipset number eg HD4600
To find your graphics chipset number -
There you will see the chipset you have as shown below
Do not use the Update Utility it is not functioning correctly - Intel are updating the drivers database and the utility does not pick up the latest drivers yet.
If you are using an AMD or NVidia graphics card try updating the drivers from their website.

i have MMM 2015 and working on Wins 7.
lol all i had to do was reboot comp. Never had to ever in over yr of having program, thx for your help
I tried diffeentt things but nothing worked. I had also tried FILE-SETTINGS-RESET PROGRAM SETTINGS TO DEFAULT earlier without luck. I just tried it again now and PRESTO- it worked. In conclusion- try this several times, shut down the pc in between and with any luck this will help.
