Pixelan smart blur pro

I have been watching a Tutorial by Browj5 on masking and it's really easy to follow.

I have a MP4 Video with a face in a certain part of the film that I want to blur out, I have tried following the instructions in the Tutorial but Can't get it to Blur out the face, is this because this is an MP4 video and it's not possible. I'm using MEP 2015
