Yes, no problem. You can use MEP for Screen Capture for taking videos, but single pictures are easier to take with the Print Screen function on the PC, and then "glue it in" (Ctrl+V) into a picture editing program,

Hello Anirban,

In addition to asoeli's comment you may also wish to consider downloading the TNT free screen capture application.  It produces very clear images, plus you can set it to only capture a part of the screen if you want to.  It is available here   http://www.tntscreencapture.com/

here is an example.

@gandjcarr, thanks so much for the excellent suggestion to use TNT !! It seems very interesting.

Thanks for the TNT recommendation, George. Duly installed, looks good. I have Snagit (paid) which is comprehensive, but I don't think it has TNT's neat fade and shadow options.

I am really glad that TNT has helped so many people out.  I will try to post more free tools that I use as and when the opportunity arises.  I just wish it was not so difficult to get tutorials posted on this site.  I have many that I could post, but I submitted one over two months ago and have not seen it posted, so I continue to post them on YouTube and point people there which is not how it should be but it works.

Thank you for your comments

Hi

Great piece of software - I used to use PSP 10 to do the same job but this is more friendly - even captures dual screens correctly.
