Overlaying clips that are transparent

Hello,

I have a client I make videos for. I use Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premier for my work. He uses Video Pro X. I rendered some text shorts for him to overlay using RGB+Alpha so there is no background and only the text shows. But when he drags them over his existing clips they are not working as transparent so they show a black background.

Is there a relatively simple process I can point him to that will allow him to put these overlay messages over his videos?

Thanks, and sorry for such a beginner question, i'm just not familiar with this software, and he doesn't usually do this type of thing as he's not a motion graphics guy.

EDIT: i want to add something, from what I'm used to, I placed the transparent videos on top of my clips in the timeline in After Effects. But what I'm gathering by searching is that with Magix I need to put my transparent clips below the video it will overlay. is that correct?

I didn't bother to uninstall, clicked it and it said it Removed Update and stage 3 Removed MAGIX Video Pro X

Had to close Firefox (Process iD 7720)

It installed it and once again I have 15.0.4.176b (UDP3) 8429 KA1

But I am back to square 1 because once again it does not show overlay!

Used the syscheck.exe file Support sent and emailed the results and information to them.

Must have collected a lot of info... 17860 lines.. Test completed successfully.

Will post results..

EDIT: They said nothing showed up that would effect the program.

Have sent them a backup of my project, so hopefully...

Installed the new 15.0.5.195 and hoped it had fixed my prob but alas. no, altho' I'm sure some good things in it.

Anyway this is my latest screen shot. See it clearly now.

Well I bought a Dell OptiPlex 9020 - Core i5 4570 3.2 GHz - 16GB - 1TB o/s Win 10x64 1709.

Loaded up VPX latest 195 and the overlay works correctly ! Gets along at a good speed to!

So there must be something in the Dell T7500 that is not happy with the 2 latest patches of VPX. Can't think of what could be be! So now to move it all across to the Opti.

Also have Steinberg Cubase 9 on it as well and this seems to work faster too, with the tests have done.
