OT: Can I switch off the Spell-Checker default?

terrypin wrote on 8/27/2011, 6:17 AM

I find the scattering of curly red underlining distracting when I'm composing messages, especially when including URLs, files, personal names, places, etc. Anyone know if it's possible for me to change the default to OFF please?

I do not think so, if so it would be with your browser. Which Web Browser do you use?

Thanks, but how would my browser (Firefox 6) affect this magix.info facility?

As for the browser... I just wanted to see if that might cause a display error.

Here is a picture of disabling the spell checker in Magix.info. You will probably need to do this for each message. I am not sure it retains this or not.

I hope that helps.

No, it doesn't. That was why I asked "Can I switch off the Spell-Checker default?"
