Order of posts within a thread?

Has Magix just changed the default sequence of posts within threads in the Forum section?

Unlike the Q&A section, at least here in the Forum they were previously in the logical order of Oldest First, like all the other many web forums I use. But today they suddenly seem to be displayed in Latest First.

To repeat, I'm talking about POSTS within a THREAD, not THREADS within the FORUM. The latter remains sensibly in Latest First order.

Hi Terry.

I think the answer to your question is Yes. In the Questions forum the user has the option to select Oldest or Latest First, apparently not so here.

However, the threads here do remain Latest First; not so, for me at least, in the Questions forum!!???

I know it's an old "moan" but why oh why did they ever change from the old forums?  They seemed much"easier" to navigate.  Interestingly I see at least part of them is still on-line.

As wabu says, it is user-settable, but it seemed to me throughout today that the default had changed to Latest First.

But... I've just tried a few threads again and they seem to be back to Oldest First! I did rattle off a request via Feedback just after I posted here, so perhaps Magix have responded very quickly? If so, thanks wabu. Hope it stays that way anyway, as I hate reading threads backwards.

Yes, our much-missed old forum thankfully still has all posts archived.
