order number guitar pro

Good afternoon. I'm Andrew. I used the magix music maker app via steam to buy guitar pro and want to activate it in magix premium. It appeared in the catalog and requires the order number that was sent by mail. But I did not receive a message, entering the order number with steam it gives an error, what happens? I wrote to support for 6 messages and they were all ignored. If I had my way, I would have bought it in the premium right away, but there is no catalog! Please help me! Don't ignore my message, please, please.

Hi, welcome to the Magix forums.

No-one is going to "ignore your message" but I wonder whether your specific problem is one you are going to have to take up with Steam?

It appears from your post, that you have the Steam version of MM Premium; is that correct? From where, exactly, did you buy Guitar Pro? From Steam or direct from Magix? If you bought the instrument from Magix, the confirmation email will have included an activation key/serial number, not normally an order number, which you need to enter in order to fully activate the product. Check the received email very carefully; it is not always obvious which is the key you need.

If you purchased the instrument through Steam, it is to Steam that you need to direct your questions.

Thank you for the additional information.

Since you bought the "right guitar" through Steam you must contact Steam Support and ask them why it does not work or why you do not have the information needed to register and activate it.

However, I can find no mention on the Steam website of any instrument called guitar pro, and nor is it listed as an available instrument from Magix for Music Maker. So, I think you need to give us a lot more detail about exactly what you have bought.

I bought the tool in this program. It appeared in the rest of magix, but requires activation. All did as in this example.

I don't understand this "guitar pro" thing. There is nothing called that in Music Maker. Guitar pro is a music notation and tab program.

Now I think I understand what your problem is! You have an instrument in Music Maker that you wish to use in Music Maker Premium. Is that correct?

If so, you need to make sure that your version of MM Premium is fully "aware of" your other MM installation. When you first open MM Premium, you will see a screen that says "Activate Edition". Click on that button and, on the screen which then opens, ensure the activation keys for each version of MM are listed. I suspect you need to enter the activation key for your non-Premium version.

Just one other thought: can you tell us exactly what is the version number of each installation of MM. Go to Help>About Music Maker.
