@John-Doe7102 It is not possible. An easy way is to use your smartphone. Just connect it to your computer an enable tethering. Then the computer will use your mobile connection to connect to the internet (be aware that this can cost money).

Well, no update to v16 then.

@John-Doe7102 You can run the stub installer to download the full installer on a different computer. Just cancel the process after the download has finished. The full installer is saved under C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\MAGIX Downloads\Installationsmanager But you cannot activate Sound Forge without Internet access, so this will not help you.

Precisely my problem. Thanks though!

Welcome to the Magix Sound Forge community @John-Doe7102

We can send you a link to download the unpacked installation files upon request, but obviously you still need an internet connection to download those and at least a temporary connection to reactivate SF.

Thank you, already got the installers. Assuming the machine in question can be temporarily brought online, can it be "activated forever" or it must call home regularly?

The MP3 some of the other file codecs may need to 'call home' occationally. For a definitive answer email Magix customer service: infoservice@magix.net

Not concerned about these. Do you know if Sound Forge itself will continue to work fine?

I do not know about the Magix SF versions. My old audio PC with (Sony) SFP-11 (and prior versions) was not permanently connected and ran offline w/o issue . It never displayed anything stating a connection was needed, aside from the initial activation.
