HI, if I want to number 60 chapters automatically starting at the SECOND object, unless I'm mistaken (probably!!!), I'll need to then individually edit all of the numbers as the automatic function can only begin from the FIRST object. (The numbers will all be off by one) I hope I'm mistaken. any thoughts? Dave

I've tried some and I don't think you can override the auto-numbering. You can't even edit the numbers as they are not like the chapter title text, but you could put a number at the front or each title.
Have you considered a different approach? Make your first object as a separate movie and the 60 others as chapters in a second one. Your top DVD menu will show two items eg 'Intro Item 1' and '60 Chapters'. There is a setting which will cause the second movie to play immediately following the first so the user doesn't have to go back to a menu.

thanks anyway. Just finished changing the chapter numbers manually. seemed a tad easier. something perhaps for the next version?, still a quite wonderful software, Dave
