Nothing is showing in Timeline Mode

Okay, folks suggest that I use TIMEline Mode but on a number of occasions, there is no information in that mode. The entire area is blank but the movie is there in and I can run it and view it in Storyline Mode. Sometimes I can reboot the computer and it will come back the next time I open the project. This time that did not help. It remains blank.

Hi,

Please show us screen shots of the Storyboard mode and the Timeline mode. In Timeline, make sure that Track 1 is visible, the playback marker is at the beginning, and the full timeline is shown - press the shortcut: F or the double-headed arrow near the bottom right of the Timeline.
