not saving to mp3 files

resetting Sound Forge, (File> "Reset all preferences and clear cached data) as suggested by magix support does not work. When will mp3 codec be fixed. This has been a problem for the last 3 versions of sound forge

@Randy-Young Are you using a firewall or antivirus software other than Windows Defender?

Also sound forge version 14 was the last one that worked correctly.

@Randy-Young Does it make a difference if you run Sound Forge as Administrator via a right click on the desktop shortcut?

Thanks for the suggestion but all my programs are set to run as adminstrator. But I tried it anyway, no luck.

You can upload images via the blue arrow icon above the response text box.
