Not allowing me to import my work...

Basically, for a few months now I've been working with this great little underrated software called Music Maker Jam on my Android. I've been working HARD too, and feel like I've made some pretty good music.

Now, since I've got a new computer I figured I would try to transfer some of my old work onto it so I can work on it further. Music Maker Live and Premium both, obviously offer lots more functionality.

This is when I start running into problems.

First off, I've purchased around 30 soundpools from the Music Maker Jam store. That's, when I do the math around $100 if every pack was the most expensive one (AKA a $3.49 pack).

I followed all the appropriate steps and eventually, after around 3 hours of figuring out how to transfer the unfinished projects I finally got them onto my laptop. I thought I was done, right? Nope, when I open up my trial version (didn't purchase Music Maker Premium) and select,

File -> Import ... (to import my Music Maker Jam project)

It gives me some sort of error code.

"An error occured during project import. Please try again. Please make sure that you are connected to the Internet."

Really?

Before that, it also tells me...

"To import a Music Maker Jam project you first have to register MAGIX Music Maker. Do you want to register now?"

Doesn't make any sense.

Also, another important detail is that I never registered with the community with an email address on Music Maker Jam. I just downloaded it for free, bought some packs, and got to producing... And when I try and export a file it asks me for the email I had used to register...

Does this mean I just threw out $100 on soundpools?

Could someone help me with this?

I can't open up my projects from Music Maker Jam on my laptop and I definitely can't afford to purchase everything I already did again on my laptop... It just doesn't make any sense to do that anyways...

I feel like I'm gonna be stuck with making all my old music again by looking at how I made it on my Android and re-making it on my laptop.

That's so unfair.

Why would I purchase everything again when that $100 could go to much better use, like more soundpools (lol).

Someone please respond quick too because I wanna get back to my music...

Thanks.

I've seen this posted elsewhere as well, so hopefully the responses will help out others...

(Thought I could get a response here quicker since the other forum doesn't seem to have that many visitors or replies).

Hi

. . . . trial version (didn't purchase Music Maker Premium) . . . .

You need to purchase the full version and register it with the same email address and password to register MMMJAM- the trial version has limited functionality.

. . . . I just downloaded it for free, bought some packs, and got to producing... And when I try and export a file it asks me for the email I had used to register... . . . .

You will have been asked to register the program the first time you used it. If you did not do this then I suggest you email support at magix.com and tell them the problem you are having.

In addition you need to ensure that Music Maker Jam is up to date on your Android device, version 1 is not compatible with Music Maker Premium.

When you import the projects from the Android device to Music Maker the required Soundpools should be downloaded and installed on the computer once you have both Music maker Jam and Music maker Premium registered with the same details.
