Not able to get the analog video out of the video machine

Hello,

I have watched the video regarding the how to start the vhs video saving with the Magix easy video saver software and gear. I managed to install the software and connect the video recorder but not able to receive the video signal to be show in the application. I´m sure that the installation and connection is correct. My vhs video player is Sharp VC-A39. The device is bought in Finland.

Hi

If you are using Windows 10 or 11, then in the Windows settings, Privacy & security, Camera and Microphone options ensure the Let desktop apps access your camera/microphone are set to on.

Also, if you are using the Scart connection, ensure that the switch on it (if there is one) is set to Out and plugged into the Scart Out socket on the VCR if it has 2 sockets.

The program is still saying that record format is not right. Where is the problem?
