Normalizing different volume audio tracks in Sound Forge Pro 11

I've conducted dozens of interviews with WW2 veterans. Now I'm taking stories from different interviews and making themed CDs. But some tracks are louder than others. Is there a way I can string say ten to twenty tracks together and even out the volume, the way Nero does when converting files for a CD? (PS: I use an old desktop, with XP still but have access to a newer laptop with windows 10)

Vegas would be faster compiling segments from different files than SF Pro-11.
The relatively new 64 bit SF Audio Studio 12 on the other hand allows adding events which are easier to trim right on the timeline.
That said, If you only have SF-11 or earlier, you can select a region of a file you wish to use, then copy and paste that into a new master file. This step would need to be repeated for each new segment you sich to add. You could normalize a new region as you go along or do it separately after pasting the parts are in. You will probably want to manually adjust volume as well. The volume envelope* plug-in gives that option. The keyboard shortcut "V" will add that plug-in to a chain, (you can add a points by double-clicking on the blue envelope line) to add volume changes to the timeline. You may also consider adding a comp/limiter at the end of the chain if needed...(Wave Hammer for instance). If further leveling is needed, some folks like The Levelator which is an automatic volume leveling processor.

BTW, SF Pro 11 build 272 and earlier should run on Win XP.. since it does on my old Vista PC. Later Pro 11 builds require at least Win 7.
