No Video or Audio using Video recorder on MEP16Plus, XP sp3.

Using MEP16Plus on Win XP sp3.  Can't get video or audio on MEP16P Video recorder when trying to view uncopyrighted VHS or DVD from external players through analog capture.  I get "Connection to hardware established" message, but no A or V.  Other program - Catalyst media center works, but not MEP16Plus.  Already installed easycap_installer_xp_sp3 with no change apparent.  Help?

are you using the MAGIX Easycap Red and White USB capture device?

Or are you using another capture device?

When you go into the recording screen, check in Step 1 you have the right driver selected, there can often be multiple installed on your system.....

Thanks for responding--

I'm not using MAGIX capture device.  I'm using ATI TV Wonder 650 PCI Card with external devices attached through ATI Audio/Video input block.  I've tried composite hookup and S-video hookup.  MAGIX shows composite and S-video in channel list and give "connection established..." message.  I just get the black screen and no audio.  Both hookups work fine on other media center, just not on MAGIX.

Latest driver is installed.  Driver:  ATI AVStream Analog Capture(DShow)
is the only video driver available for selection.

Thanks
