No support of sound in video files with extension "MTS"

I have a problem with my MAGIX Video deluxe 2014. I installed this software after changing hard disk on my laptop (operating system Windows 7 Home Premium). Now it does not support sound of video files with extension "MTS". When I want to put such file to the timeline, software suggests to upload the set of extensions. I confirm this by pushing the button "download". The process seems to start, but immediately stops without further effect. Please, help me to solve this problem.

@Karasek

Hi

Due to licensing issues with Dolby, which has affected many other video editing programs, the older versions of Video Deluxe (Movie Edit Pro), the expansion package needed is no longer available to import AC-3 stereo or surround sound encoded audio.

I would suggest you use a video converter such as Handbrake to convert the videos audio to AAC stereo encoding.

The current version VideoDeluxe 2022 can import AC-3 encoded audio, however, as you are running on Windows 7, this is not supported and your laptop may not meet the stricter system requirements for this version.
