Hey jim-ballard,

do you have chosen the right midi input for the recording track? So are there any visible midi notes in the recorded midi event?

By pressing "G" you can easily en-/disable midi inline editing to see if there are any midi notes.

Greetings

Nico

I have the same problem. Did you figure it out? If you did can you let me know the answer?

NicoKiri said something about choosing right midi input. In Kontakt, in the instrument you have chosen, look in the top of and look for Midi channel. See if it has All or Omni in it. I have a feeling it has something to do with that.

@jim-ballard, @Daich

If you disarm the MIDI track for recording can you hear the sound?

When I play a softsynth other than DLS, the midi track is blank even though I am playing it and can record it on an audio track. I can hear the synth playing even though it is not armed for recording, but nothing appears in midi track other than a colored box. If I record the DLS softsynth i can use that to play another synth of my choosing but only one softsynth at a time. What is the point of having so many options without being able to use them to their fullest capacity?
