Can you put your computer specifications in your Profile, Signature so we do not have to go hunting back through previous postes for it.
@Tusk if you're ref to this, go to Settings - About, in there it will show your Processor/CPU, amount of RAM & windows versions, you can also find them in Taskmanager - Performance windows headings
Go to your icon at the top of this page, My Profile - then fill in the Signature with the PC settings & program version, this wil then show at the bottom of your comments to help others,
Edit - 😂 @johnebaker beat me to it, just copy n paste what you wrote in that other comment, inc your Graphics card's details.
Yes it should be a duplicate button to save scrolling back up after reading the information.

@johnebaker I'm sorry, I wasn't clear in my OP. When I leave town to video, I carry a laptop w/ my software on it so I can check out the video I recorded, or if I have time to rough edit before I fine tune on my home PC.
My home PC is the one that had difficulty freezing w/ 2021 & 2022 updates. My laptop uses the version that was sent to me on CD (before I found the download link in my email to a more updated version) This is the version that doesn't have the MTS codec on it. The link to my previous post was probably my PC specs.
Here's my laptop specs (thanks @Former user )
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.21 GHz Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable) System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
(Of note, my PC apparently doesn't have the requirements to update to Windows 11, which my laptop did over night. I don't use the laptop much until I go on my trips to video. Not sure if that helps, but I thought I might mention it.)
Thanks for all the help,
Anthony

@Tusk 👍 'my PC apparently doesn't have the requirements to update to Windows 11' I get a similar msg, I don't mind tho, i'm not upgrading until i have to after reading the amount of complaints on forums about MEP & VP19 not liking it.
. . . . PC apparently doesn't have the requirements to update to Windows 11 . . . .
I assume the message you are getting is saying there is no Trusted Platform Module (TPM) installed or available to meet the requirements of Windows 11.
This is most likely a false statement as the processor in your PC does support TPM - Intel call it Intel Trusted Execution Technology and this requires turning on in the BIOS of your PC, how you do this and the exact wording depends on the mother board make/model in the PC, it is usually off by default, however in most laptops it is turned on by default which is why it updated to Windows 11.
Did you try the solution the OP found here and @CubeAce mentioned previously?
Hi, being not computer savvy as I'd like, I have a 'computer guy' who built my PC to edit videos within a reasonable price. I've been thinking about upgrading my mother board to a terabyte solid state drive from my 500gb one. I was thinking that was a reason why I could no longer run newer version of the Magix program I had, I also inquired about what he thinks my PC needs to be able to upgrade to Windows 11. His opinion was to wait awhile to upgrade to 11 as it's 'new' and wait until all the issues are worked out in a couple years. Which is generally my opinion on any new technologies, there will always be bugs and you don't want to spend time find the necessary patches if you're not especially adept at the technology.
Thanks for the link, I will investigate it further when I'm ready to upgrade to a more stable Windows 11
Thanks
Anthony

@Tusk 👍 Hi, I think you should remove Device name, Device & Product ID from your comment above & from your signature, for security & add your GPU specs.
All you need is
Magix Movie Edit Pro Plus version 16.0.1.22 (UDP3) Processor : Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700 CPU @ 3.20 GHz 3.19 GHz Installed RAM 32 GB System Type 64-bit operating system, x64 based processor Windows 10 Home Version 2004 OS build 19041.450 (& your Graphics card)
