No picture in any format video export

Hello,

I just upgraded from Video Pro X6 to Video Pro X14 version 20.0.3.176 (UDP3) and have not been able to export anything to any export format. All the formats the export file will have audio but no video. I have tried all 3 settings on the hardware encoding setting. Same results.

I tried resetting all settings to defaults and still the same results.

The computer is a Intel DX58SO extreme board with a Core i7 950 processor, 6 Gig of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT with 1 GIg RAM, a 1 TB SSD boot drive and a 8 TB data drive running Windows 10 Pro version 22H2.

There are 6 video codecs on the computer:

c:\windows\system32\iyuv_32.dll    Microsoft Corporation        OK    C:\WINDOWS\system32\IYUV_32.DLL    10.0.19041.1    53.00 KB (54,272 bytes)    12/7/2019 4:09 AM

c:\windows\system32\msrle32.dll    Microsoft Corporation        OK    C:\WINDOWS\system32\MSRLE32.DLL    10.0.19041.1    18.00 KB (18,432 bytes)    12/7/2019 4:09 AM

c:\windows\system32\msvidc32.dll    Microsoft Corporation        OK    C:\WINDOWS\system32\MSVIDC32.DLL    10.0.19041.1    39.00 KB (39,936 bytes)    12/7/2019 4:09 AM

c:\windows\system32\msyuv.dll    Microsoft Corporation        OK    C:\WINDOWS\system32\MSYUV.DLL    10.0.19041.1    27.00 KB (27,648 bytes)    12/7/2019 4:09 AM

c:\windows\system32\prodad~1.dll    proDAD GmbH    proDAD Codec    OK    C:\WINDOWS\system32\PRODAD-CODEC.DLL    1.0.18.0    593.02 KB (607,256 bytes)    10/11/2016 4:14 PM

c:\windows\system32\tsbyuv.dll    Microsoft Corporation        OK    C:\WINDOWS\system32\TSBYUV.DLL    10.0.19041.1    16.50 KB (16,896 bytes)    12/7/2019 4:09 AM

The next to last codec is dated 10/11/2016, is that from Video Pro X6? That is the only thing I saw that looks strange.

Does anyone have any ideas to get it exporting video?

Thank you,

John Wolf

@jwolf

Hi, and welcome back to the user to user forums.

Have you tried setting the program settings for Import, Processing, and Export to all use the CPU as your current graphics card is no longer supported by the program. Also make sure you don't try to use any hardware acceleration.

You may also be running out of physical ram as the recommended amount is 16GBs. Increasing the amount of virtual ram will not help. Just loading the program on my computer pushes my memory requirements to over 7GBs.

Did you look at the required minimum specs page for VPX14?

I am assuming you are at least seeing video in the program monitor.

Ray.
